LH can be detected in your urine. You can therefore find out when you have the greatest chance of becoming pregnant by measuring the increase in the concentration of LH in your urine.

You should aim to collect your urine between the hours of 10.00am-8.00pm and then try to collect your urine at approximately the same time each day until you have identified your L.H. surge. You should also try to limit your fluid intake for about 2 hours before collecting your urine, as excess amounts of fluid can dilute the L.H. in your urine.
You should avoid testing your urine first thing in the morning, as the first day of the L.H. surge may not be detected.

Use the ovulation test once a day, at about the same time - between 10:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M.
N.B Do not use first morning samples as LH is synthesized in your body early in the morning.
It will not show up in urine until later in the day.
Some women have found that their best sample is after 12 noon.
Be sure to test at the same time each day.
Reduce your liquid intake around 2 hours before testing urine as a diluted liquid sample can prevent LH detection.
