Long term review

I bought the meter and 50 blood glucose strips plus 50 blood ketone strips. I’ve now used them all. No problems at all. I was a bit worried having read a couple of the reviews that said they got a lot of error messages, but I found the reliability was 100%.
I’m now ordering more.
Also super that it does BG and BK in one unit!

It took a while researching to find this product, there are plenty of companies advertising under the keto banner that simply don't have this value. You can't beat this kit for value. I'm on keto and I use this meter for testing. Super simple to set up - I'm definitely a visual learner so it was great to be able to watch the setup instructions. On-Call GK meter ease of use

I've been monitoring blood sugar (another meter provider) as part of loosing weight and trying to get my type 2 diabetes into remission. I have been following a Ketone diets recently and wanted to measure to make sure I am staying in Ketosis. This meter seems OK to use compared to other blood testing meters I have used but I do find that the Ketone test strips are very sensitive and no mater how careful you are will give E-4 (contaminated strip) and E-5 (insufficient sample) quite regularly. I have been careful to follow the instructions in the comprehensive User Manual. Seems to me it may have something to do with the way the strip draws in the blood. Anyway I would think the I have 'wasted about 10% of the strips used so far which given their price galls me somewhat. If thinks do not improve I will probably abandon this manufacturer and try something else although Ketone monitors seem to be a bit thin on the ground in the UK. So three stars only I'm afraid.
