Substances Detected by This Vape & Smoking Drug Test Kit
- Nicotine & Cotinine NIC 3000 ng/mL & COT 200 ng/mL
- Cannabis THC 50 ng/mL
- Synthetic Cannabis K2 / Spice 50 ng/mL
Our smoking and vaping drug test kits are specifically formulated to detect the substances most commonly encountered in recreational and social settings: Nicotine, Cotinine, Cannabis (THC), and Synthetic Cannabis (K2/Spice). These substances are often inhaled via cigarettes, vapes, or herbal mixtures and can be difficult to identify without specialised testing.
Nicotine & Cotinine (3000 ng/mL and 200 ng/mL sensitivity)
Nicotine is the primary addictive compound in tobacco and vaping products, while cotinine, its main metabolite, persists in the body longer and serves as a reliable indicator of nicotine exposure. Testing for both ensures accurate detection of smoking or vaping activity.
Cannabis / THC (50 ng/mL sensitivity)
THC is the psychoactive component of cannabis, most commonly consumed by smoking or vaping. Reliable testing is essential due to varying potency levels and frequent recreational use. When testing solid cannabis, dissolve a small sample in 5 ml of clean water for at least 5 minutes to extract THC and prevent false negatives.
Synthetic Cannabis / K2 (50 ng/mL sensitivity)
Synthetic cannabinoids, often sold as “K2” or “Spice,” are lab-made substances that mimic THC but are more potent and unpredictable. Typically smoked or vaped, they carry significant health risks. Accurate detection is critical, as appearance or smell alone cannot confirm the presence of synthetic cannabinoids.
By focusing on these substances, our vape and smoker liquid drug test kits provide a rapid, reliable, and user-friendly solution for detecting recent nicotine, cannabis, or synthetic cannabis use. Each kit delivers clear results, supporting safety and responsible monitoring in recreational, workplace, or home environments.
How to Test Vape Liquids or Smoking Samples
All kits include step-by-step instructions, with a demonstration video available for additional guidance.
- Remove the test panel from the protective foil pouch.
- Mix three drops of vape liquid with 5 ml of clean water to create a soluble solution.
- Dip the absorbent wicks into the solution for 15 seconds. Do not submerge the plastic casing, as this may flood the test and produce invalid results.
- Use uncontaminated water to avoid interference from bleach, oxidants, or other chemicals.
- Observe the test windows to see the solution migrating through the panel, indicating the presence of substances.
Note: This kit can also be used to test urine, saliva, or powder samples for nicotine, THC, or synthetic cannabinoids.
How to Read Results
- Read results 5–10 minutes after activation.
- Each strip includes a control line (C) and a test line (T). The control line confirms the test has functioned correctly.
- Negative: Two visible lines in both the C and T regions.
- Positive: Only the control line (C) appears; no line in the T region.
- Invalid: No control line (C) – the test must be repeated.
