The new test is packaged in 25 test cassette packs with 25 combined stool sampling and buffer transfer tubes, manufacturers data sheet and instruction.
Packs allow 25 complete screening tests for Helicobacter Pylori infection by detecting the bacterial antigen being excreted in the faeces.
As with laboratory H Pylori screening tests, donors should be asked to stop Proton pump, H2 and Bismuth subsalicylate treatments for 7 days before testing.
