The drugs that can be tested for at the roadside under the new rules are :
Cannabis, Cocaine, Opiates, Amphetamine, Methadone, Benzodiazepines
Some of the drugs that may be tested for are prescription drugs, that impair driving ability. The following prescription drugs will also be covered under the new rules:
Benzodiazepines ( sedatives sometimes used postoperatively, also used for anxiety and as sleeping tablets) including Clonazepam, Diazepam, Flunitrazepam (also known as Rohypnol), Lorazepam, Oxazepam, and Temazepam
plus Methadone (often prescribed to drug addicts to help them come off heroin ) and Morphine or opiates (strong painkillers)
