EasyLife haemoglobin anaemia meter
The Easylife Plus haemoglobin meter measures haemoglobin levels using a finger-prick blood sample to screen for anaemia. While the device is highly accurate, results may vary by up to 15% compared to laboratory tests. This variation is primarily due to differences in blood sampling methods laboratory tests typically use venous blood, whereas the Easylife haemoglobin meter uses capillary (finger-prick) blood.

Had to watch YouTube video to see how to add blood to test strip. Wasted quite a few before getting it right. Instructions not very clear. Not sure if accuracy. 🌸🌸🌸

We have been regularly monitoring my wife’s haemoglobin following a stay in hospital for anaemia. The hospital have also been taking samples and testing at two week intervals. We have been delighted to find that that the device readings have been very similar to the official blood test results, and in some cases actually identical. It gives us a lot of confidence and peace of mind in our results.
After a false start reading the instructions, I resorted to YouTube, which was so clear and simple to follow and gave a critical piece of early information in setting up the meter that I was getting wrong, however, all went smoothly and I now feel very reassured that I can keep a careful eye on my iron levels. Meter simple & clear to use once set up, wouldn't hesitate in recommending & only wish I had found it sooner.
